Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress, best well-known for her performances as the roles of Dr. Sydney Hansen and Dr. Lane Hunter, respectively. In addition, she has played the role of detective Stella Bonasera within the CBS drama series CSI: NY. The actress also won praise for her acclaimed television debut of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap series 'Guiding Light'. Some of her notable films include '15 Minutes 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief', as well as "Snitch". She is reportedly in the process of making a film version of her autobiography by Elisabeth Kobler-Ross The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the pair that wrote the film "Immortals".
